An overdue update

It's been too long since I posted. Before I get to the current stuff, here's the highlights from the last few months.
  • We bought a house.
  • Work load hits ridiculous speed
  • Had movers deliver all our stuff into the garage while floors are finished
  • Made the acquaintance of six new sanders (belt, drum, rotary, hand, etc.)
  • Officially closed on house
  • Finally finished refinishing all the floors in our house
  • Work hits ludicrous speed
  • Moved all the heavy furniture into our house (7:00 pm)
  • Fly to Seoul (12:00 pm)
  • Gone for 3 weeks in Seoul
  • Repaint entire house.
  • Finish unpacking
  • Take last of 9 trashcans of boxes and paper to the curb
So, now that I've gotten that out of the way, on to the pictures. I was in Seoul for business, but had some down time in the evenings and weekend. I was also able to spend some time with one of my good friends from Grad school. This was a real highlight. I really enjoyed Korea. The Koreans are a very warm and friendly people. I was really struck by their kindness. I haven't been able to come up with a better way of putting that.

In the course of my time there, I was able to travel through most of the country. Rather than make this a travel log, I thought I'd share a couple pictures from the trip. I spent some time visiting some of the prominent temples, some of the historic sites, a natural conservation park, and even a lantern festival. I hope to be able to return again next year.
