And pictures to come. Yes, it's rare that I feel the need to capture my dinner in photo, but it was so good that I have to share.
Here's what got thrown together:
Saffron chicken kabobs, on couscous, with a homemade tomato-basil sauce
Naan to accompany said couscous
Homemade humus for the extra naan to be dipped in. mmmm.... tasty. And I figured out how to make tahini too, (which kind of really helps if you're making humus)
Brownies. (Not entirely homemade, unless you count the extra pecans that I tossed into the box mix. While I do like the homemade stuff, why not use boxes when you can?)
I'll have to add pictures later. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

I'm hungry just thinking about it, too. And don't worry--I frequently take pictures of food, too. (This is not surprising. Mom told me that unlike more newborns who sleep immediately after the birth, I demanded that I be fed. It's continued ever since...)
ReplyDeleteI do that, too! Have you seen all the pictures of food I took in Kenya? Although I guess that was more academic, so I could educate the world on Kenyan delicacies...wow, I just got a craving for chapati.
ReplyDeleteCan we reenact this experience? I think we should spare no detail - especially the brownie part.
Yes. We can re-enact and improvise. Various flavors of breads, humus, chocolate....
