Paris

I really didn't have a lot of time in Paris. I took my connecting flight home through Paris so that I could see some very good friends that I have not seen in many years. That was truly the highlight! I spent Saturday afternoon and evening catching up with my good friend Didier. We were able to take a river cruise down the Seine. It gave us some time to see the city without wearing ourselves out, and some unique views of the city.

It was a bit rainy, but we braved the weather a bit and enjoyed the sunset from Trocadero, which has a great view of the Eiffel Tower.

The next day, I was able to go to church in Torcy, where I met up with my Mission President and his wife. These are truly wonderful people! For two years, they were like my own parents, and so I was so happy to see them again. Our time was short, but it was wonderful to share a meal together and catch up on our lives. I look forward to going back some time with Abby to visit.

  1. Wow, did you take that picture ALL BY YOURSELF?!! That's a pretty amazing shot...it must be a postcard. Right? A little clarification, please?

  3. Really!! What kind of camera do you have? There are some really incredible shots on your blog. I think the one next to the castle picture is about the most gorgeous scenic shot ever.
