We had a great time over Christmas break visiting Peru. My brother and one sister was there with us, so it was great seeing them too. (It's never complete though without the rest of the family!!!) Anyway, here are a few pics from the trip. We arrived Christmas morning after passing Santa somewhere over Belize I think. It could have been Nicaragua though. (Come on, it was dark!)
I absolutely love Peru. It's a wonderful place with wonderful people. I also loved getting a chance to learn/practice more spanish. I'll have to keep working on that. Each time gets a little better. During the trip, we passed through a valley with lots of little churches. I've captured a little slide show of them for you to enjoy. It was just after Christmas, so you can still see some of the decorations up at some.
We were with my family until New Years Eve, which we did enjoy, munecos and all! We even watched the fireworks from on top of the roof! On New Years Day, we left (always sad to leave..) and went down to more adventure in Machu Piccu. What a great time that was! I loved going with Abby. She makes all of these trips fun. At any rate, I'm going to leave the rest of the talking to the pictures.
